All distances, on this occassion, will be marked
with 3 x 14 target units being shot each day

Unit 1 - IFAA 2D Paper Animal
Unit 2 - SFAA 3D Single Arrow
Unit 3 - SFAA 2D Three Arrow
Day 2
Unit 1 - IFAA 2D Paper Animal
Unit 2 - SFAA 3D Single Arrow
Unit 3 - SFAA 2D Three Arrow

On both days shooting will commence by 9.30am

    SFAA Website Update
    On Friday 1st July the SFAA website was the victim of an deliberate malicious act of cyber crime. When the effects of this malicious act were discovered the SFAA Contingency Plan was invoked and a interim website uploaded to ensure no degradation of service to our members. The incident is now the subject of a Police Scotland investigation.

    Scottish Field Archery Championship 2016
    The Scottish Field Archery Championships were completed over the weekend of 27/28 Aug 2016. Final results are now available to download from the Results page or by pasting this link into your browser

    Edinburgh Napier University Archery Club
    Napier has become the second University Archery Club to be awarded Associate University Club status, following on from Edinburgh University's induction in 2014.

    Scottish Bow Hunter Championship 2016 15th & 16th Oct 2016
    The re-scheduled SBHC 2016 will now take place over the weekend of 15th and 16th of October 2016 Following feedback from members a revised format of marked distances only will be shot on this occassion with 3 x 14 Units being shot each day at both Paper and 3D targets.

    UKIFAC 2016 Scotland Takes Silver
    Over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd of July the UKIFAC 2016 was held at the Kings Forest Archerys course in the Thetford Forest. Scotland came away with the Silver medal in the team competitions and numerous medals in the different styles and a couple of new Scottish Records were shot too. Congratulations to all our archers

    Shooting at IFAA Events
    The IFAA is now strictly enforcing the 'Two Classification Scores' rule at all its international events. If you have not shot the required number of classification scores within the required timeframe you will not be allowed to enter any of their events. Only scores shot at an event organised by a national governing body such as the SFAA will be eligible in future.

    SFAA 1966 - 2016 Golden Jubilee Pins
    The Scottish Field Archery Association is 50 years this year and to mark the occasion all members are being presented with a commemorative pin. The pins are being distributed via our affiliated clubs. If you have not yet received your pin please contact your club secretary. Please note that your pin will be issued through your primary club.
