    Argyll Field Archers Affiliate to SFAA
    The SFAA is pleased to announce that Argyll Field Archers who currently shoot over a 24 target course in the Inverawe Forest at Taynult, near Oban, have affiliated to the Association. I am sure all our members will wish to join us in welcoming AFA to the SFAA family

    Edinburgh Napier University Archery Club
    Napier has become the second University Archery Club to be awarded Associate University Club status, following on from Edinburgh University's induction in 2014.

    Scottish Bow Hunter Championship 2016
    Following the unforeseen postponement of SBHC 2016 in May we can confirm that this event has been rescheduled to the weekend of 15th and 16th of October 2016 Following feedback from members a revised format to all both Marked and Unmarked distances to be shot is being introduced. Further details on the format will follow soon.

    UKIFAC 2016 Scotland Takes Silver
    Over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd of July the UKIFAC 2016 was held at the Kings Forest Archerys course in the Thetford Forest. Scotland came away with the Silver medal in the team competitions and numerous medals in the different styles and a couple of new Scottish Records were shot too. Congratulations to all our archers

    Shooting at IFAA Events
    The IFAA is now strictly enforcing the 'Two Classification Scores' rule at all its international events. If you have not shot the required number of classification scores within the required timeframe you will not be allowed to enter any of their events. Only scores shot at an event organised by a national governing body such as the SFAA will be eligible in future.
